I hear that Newsweek recently described UMNO as "a seething pit of vipers"... spot on, or what? :-)
Bulls eye spot on! :-)
In Wikipedia you can also find that two large Korean conglomerates (1 sells a prominent brand in Malaysia)took up equal stakes in UMNO in 1997, due to the Asian financial crisis. Pax.
Hitam Had - I'm guessing it must be Kia and some other brand. Hyundai? SsangYong? LG? Samsung?
I can't seem to find it on Wikipedia.
You guessed right, Penultimate one and follow the lead to the other one. Of course it cannot be true. Pax.
LG???? I wouldn't have guessed.
"In 1997, the Asian financial crisis occurred in Malaysia. Due to the crisis, LG Group and SK Group each took over equal stakes of United Malays National Organization"
