If this was just another soccer match, I'd tune out completely - but the results of this particular match will impact the future and impinge on future generations yet unborn. So long as Umno/BN is entrenched in Putrajaya, it will contaminate the psychic atmosphere with the mental and moral pollution of Mahathirist ideology, which postulates that winning is everything and no trick is too dirty or vile if you can trip up your opponent.
Mahathir just showed up at the right time. The economy was doing well, and he took credit for it. While everyone else was cashing in on profits, he subtly made changes and these changes will haunt us for years to come.
