The Outcome Of The Trial

I am always impressed when the big time journos like the Washington Post sit up and pay attention to Malaysian politics.

This is no exception: Why the prosecution of Malaysia's Anwar Ibrahim matters to the West

I think this would be something you might like to read for yourself - it is probably Malaysia's most famous trial.

Hi Ms C, interesting read. But the judgement is a foregone conclusion, notwithstanding the ridicule we will be facing. Just like Zimbabwe.

On a separate note, is it deliberate that you dated your posting with tomorrow's date?

Pax.

Yes, the date was deliberate. :-)

Jugular - brilliant! Thanks for the links. However, I'm not so worried about Australia as they tend to mind their own beeswax for the most part.

The same can't be said of the US of A. They may suddenly discover that we have reasonable reserves of oil and be suddenly compelled to "liberate" us from our distress.
